Hello Reader,

Thank you for subscribing and reading the Sunday Stitch; we appreciate your support!

Quilt piecing techniques are helpful for so many other projects besides just quilts! You can create bags, pillows, and even home decor items! Here are over a dozen clever, quilted projects to sew that aren’t quilts!

PATTERN OF THE MONTH

The Choose Happiness Quilt Pattern is our February Pattern of the Month! Grab it for 30% this month only!

A Note from Melissa:

I spent the week prepping for our next quilt kit drop! I finished the sample, but the quilt still needed to be bound. Normally, I machine-bind my quilts, but an old back injury made it hard to sit at my sewing machine this week, so I had to bind it by hand.

It was nice to sit down and listen to my new favorite audiobook series (Emma M. Lion) while I worked. I enjoyed the slower, quieter pace this week. I'm not sure I'll go back to hand binding, though- hand it's hard on the fingers!

p.s. If you’re looking for some really fun and unique quilt block patterns, be sure to check out Gracey Larson’s Etsy shop. She’s a fellow Riley Blake Designer and is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia, so supporting her shop right now means even more. I picked up a few of her flower quilt block patterns for a gift I’m working on, and they’re just lovely.

p.p.s. my favorite necklaces are on sale this month; they are perfect for adding a pop of color to your winter wardrobe. Use code surprise20 at checkout.
