A Note from Melissa: I spent the week prepping for our next quilt kit drop! I finished the sample, but the quilt still needed to be bound. Normally, I machine-bind my quilts, but an old back injury made it hard to sit at my sewing machine this week, so I had to bind it by hand. It was nice to sit down and listen to my new favorite audiobook series (Emma M. Lion) while I worked. I enjoyed the slower, quieter pace this week. I'm not sure I'll go back to hand binding, though- hand it's hard on the fingers! -Melissa p.s. If you’re looking for some really fun and unique quilt block patterns, be sure to check out Gracey Larson’s Etsy shop.
