Hello Reader,

Thank you for subscribing and reading the Sunday Stitch; we appreciate your support!

Who’s ready to get organized? (Raises hand!) I’m going to do my part to help you organize your sewing, quilting, and craft projects this year with these printable monthly project planners. Keep yourself on track throughout the year!

Our popular printable planners are back for another year. You can grab them in one of three ways.

Are you in the mood for Love? If so, you may like this specially curated collection of 40 things to sew for Valentine’s Day! I’ve included all kinds of fun projects, from Valentine’s Heart Quilts to Valentine’s Day pillows! Enjoy!

JANUARY PATTERN OF THE MONTH

We’re welcoming January, and the start of the Year of the Horse, with our new Pattern of the Month, and it feels like a meaningful way to begin the year. The Bluegrass Pastures Quilt Pattern is inspired by the wide-open fields of the horse farms I see daily, living in Kentucky.

A Note from Melissa:

It felt so good this week to have a "normal" work week. I love what I do, and it's been hard to balance work and the holidays during the last couple of months.

I've been itching to get back to my sewing machine; other than a quick "last-minute" quilt made for a Christmas gift, I haven't been able to sew since mid-December, and I'm missing it!

Unfortunately, last week was not the week to get back to sewing. I spent the week designing our 2026 planner pages, catching up on emails, working on a few new project designs, and doing a lot of administrative stuff! All good things, but a distraction from sewing.

This week, I plan to finish my Santa's Sampler Quilt, load one of about a dozen unquilted quilt tops onto my longarm machine, and test the first block for our 2026 Block of the Month quilt. I'll let you know how it goes!

A few updates:

  • 2026 Block of the Month Quilt kits will be available for preorder on January 15th. Exclusively for Patreon members.
  • Monthly Kit drops return in February!
  • As a reminder, the Santa's Sampler Quilt blocks will be moved to the shop this week (I'm giving everyone an extra week). If you're missing a block, now is the time to print the patterns.
