✂️ Sunday Stitch: Heart Quilt Block Tutorial & 2026 Block of the Month Program

Hello Reader,

Thank you for subscribing and reading the Sunday Stitch; we appreciate your support!

If you’ve been craving a creative project that feels fun instead of stressful, I have something special for you. I’m so excited to officially invite you to my 2026 Block of the Month series, hosted on Patreon! This is a year-long quilting project designed to help you slow down, stitch with intention, and enjoy a little “me time” each month; one beautiful quilt block at a time.

In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through how to sew a Heart Quilt block in 6”, 9”, or 12” sizes, so you can easily mix and match blocks or choose the perfect scale for your project.

A Note from Melissa:

Is it still January? LOL! Somehow January always feels like the longest month of the year, and we're only halfway through!

I was excited to get a good "sew day" in this week and make some progress on our 2026 quilt project, and a few fun projects are coming to the site soon.

I did not get a quilt loaded on the longarm this week as I had planned, but there's always next week!

I hope you are staying warm and have found a cozy project to work on through the winter!

I'm hoping to get a few videos filmed for my YouTube channel this week and make more progress on a few WIP quilts. I'll report back next week and let you know how it went!

-Melissa
